What do we need to do for Russia to become a better place to live? People blame beaurocrats, politicians, businessmen, etc, etc. The last ones in their turn blame other people in their turn. In this way it becomes an endless negative spiral. "Moment 22" as swedes like to name it. Whatever you do there's no way out.
I think there are things we can change though. Just today I got a wonderful initiative taken by a conscious person:

And this is not the only thing you can do. We can first of all start from ourselves: to fill in the tax declaration even though we work for an american company that send us money which the tax department will never hear about. We can let be taking some stuff that doesn't belong us from workplaces and not accept others doing that.
It's best we live the way we teach, otherwise we fill in all these petitions and wait for everyone around to stop cheating before we stop doing it ourselves.
It all starts with self-responsibility. It does really matter what every single one of us decides to do. And more than that: we cannot change so much in the world, the biggest change we can reach is within ourselves.
Here in Europe it's quite obvious for people. Every individual tries to decrease environment polution as much as possible by bying energy-saving lamps, recycling, driving environment-friendly cars.
Some times it can go to the extreme though. Environmental party of Sweden for example may block an extending of a highway here in Sweden which results in costly workarounds. These money, being invested in projects like: support of lower birthrate in developing countries (preventing extreme growth of amount consumers of the earth resources) would be much more effective for the environmental problems.
So everything is good as long as it relies on common sense ;) Trust yourselves, take responsibility and may the world become your best friend :)
